After years of many sleepless nights, testing an array of different career pathways and tripping over her own toes, Bridgette has retied her laces to embark on her artistic journey.

She left New Zealand at age 18, not knowing what to expect or what she wanted out of life. Ending up in Bristol, the beautiful city was her home for five years where she was fortunate enough to be a part of a performance collective 'a room full of people' and a principal dancer for the New Works Ballet Company. She has also been choreographing for over 15 years.

Since moving back to New Zealand at the beginning of 2020, she was quickly introduced to Nordic folk culture. She found it entrancing, integral and powerful. This discovery has inspired her imagination and has reignited her desire to create.

Through the curiosity of exploring these new perspectives, she has begun to use her art as a form to connect to her unique energy and as a tool to articulate the raw human emotions that is within us all.
